Every week, I put together a roundup of what's happening around the Jersey Shore, from community festivals and hometown celebrations to food truck events, live music, family activities, and local traditions. Here's what's happening this week:
- Festival of the Sea (Long Beach Island), Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM: rides, games, food, raffles, beer garden, and family entertainment.
- Manasquan Fireman's Fair (Manasquan), Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM nightly: carnival rides, games, food, and classic summer fair fun at Mallard Park.
- Allenhurst Carnival (Allenhurst), Thursday, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM: carnival rides, train rides, sand art, food trucks, and fun for the whole family.
- Manchester Recreation "A Night in Paradise" Hawaiian Show (Manchester Township), Friday, 7:00 PM: hula dancers, Tahitian drummers, fire knife performers, and a free evening of live entertainment.
- Highlands Clamfest (Highlands), Friday through Sunday: seafood, live music, beer garden, vendors, and family-friendly entertainment.
- Olde Freehold Day (Freehold), Saturday, 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM: live music, food trucks, vendors, canoes and paddleboats, kids' activities, an art show, and beer garden.
- New Egypt Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, 125th Anniversary Celebration (New Egypt), Saturday, 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM: parade, food trucks, live music, community celebration, and family activities.
- Goldie Fest Jersey Shore (Lakewood), Saturday: golden retrievers, vendors, food, drinks, activities, and entertainment for dog lovers and families.
- Atlantic Highlands Marina Music & Food Festival (Atlantic Highlands), Sunday, noon to 8:30 PM: 21 food trucks, live bands, artisan vendors, beer, wine, sangria, and waterfront views.
