Featured Communities

Local Knowledge. Shore Results. Updated October 2026

Every so often I pick one Jersey Shore town and go much deeper than the standard community guide. I cover schools grade by grade, youth sports and how to sign up, every neighborhood, parks, restaurants, 55+ communities, commuting, and the details you only learn by closing deals there. Each one comes from my own time in that town.

Here's every Featured Community so far, newest first.

Stafford Township (Manahawkin)

Current Featured Community. Stafford is the mainland gateway to Long Beach Island. The school district gives every stage from Pre-K through 6th grade its own building and feeds into Southern Regional. You have shopping along Route 72, LBI one bridge away, and Parkway Exit 63 right in town.

The feature covers Beach Haven West's lagoons, Ocean Acres, Cedar Bonnet Island and The Boatyard, The Mainland, Manahawkin Lake, youth sports, restaurants from Mud City to ManaFirkin, and four 55+ communities.

Lacey Township (Forked River & Lanoka Harbor)

The first Featured Community. I was born and raised in Lacey, and I'm raising my own family here now. It's one of the largest municipalities in New Jersey by land. It has a lagoon and bay boating culture, a state marina, and inland woods most people driving Route 9 never realize are there.

The feature covers schools, neighborhoods, youth sports, senior living, marinas, and more.
